If you’re looking for a fun and creepy Halloween craft or activity to do, you’ll love this green eyeball Halloween slime! It’s gross and spooky looking and full of fake eyeballs for a Halloween party or craft. 😉

Materials:

  • Clear Elmer’s glue (or PVA glue)
  • Green food coloring
  • 1/2 teaspoon borax powder mixed into 1 cup slightly warm water
  • Tiny fake eyeballs (I used candy eyeballs but found that they started disintegrating so it would probably be better to use craft googly eyes!)

First start by gathering all your supplies. Slime making can be messy and sticky at times because you’re playing with glue, so I put down a Halloween-themed plastic tablecloth. 😉

Halloween slime ingredients
Measuring the borax and water

Make your slime activator.  I used 1/2 teaspoon of borax powder thoroughly dissolved into 1 cup of warm water. You can, if you prefer, also activate slime using contact solution and a pinch of baking soda.

Pouring clear glue for the Halloween slime

Put the slime activator to the side (you’ll only use a little bit of it, so feel free to save it in a bottle for future use) and pour some clear glue into a bowl. You don’t need exact measurements for this part, so just EYEBALL it based on what size you want your slime to be. 🙂

Adding green food coloring to the Halloween slime

Next add a few drops of bright green food coloring. I used gel food coloring.

Mixing the green Halloween slime

Stir in the food coloring until you reach your desired color.

Adding borax to the slime and mixing

Next start SLOWLY spooning in the borax solution, one spoonful at a time. Start mixing it together until it starts to pull away from the sides of the bowl.

Pour some creepy eyeballs on top and add in a little bit more of the slime activator until your slime is not as sticky anymore. Finish mixing your slime by playing with it in your hands! If you’re using the candy eyes (I would recommend plastic googly eyes instead), just add them on top and don’t mix them in otherwise they’ll melt. 🙂

Have fun with your Halloween slime!
