How to Make Homemade Magic Shell
Here’s what you need:
– Coconut oil (this is the secret! Preferably in a solid state.. keep it out of the heat)
Mix roughly a tablespoon or two of each ingredient to the consistency and sweetness you like. The amount of cocoa powder will also depend on the consistency of your coconut oil at the time. If it gets warm then it will turn into a liquid and you’ll need more of the cocoa and sugar.
Then just pour or blob it over your ice cream and you’re done! 🙂 The coconut oil will harden when it’s in contact with the cold ice cream, thus making it like a shell.
Be careful not to eat too much coconut oil or it can make you sick.
